I assumed 4.0 would have some pop up in task bar. Seems like there is no update notifications in the tray widget, and qubes manager is very unreliable constantly showing updates pending when there is none.
I don't think this is good for security. Even the most pro user will forget to update once in a while, and it would be a real pain to constantly check for updates manuually on every single template for people that have many.
