Hi, It's been awhile since i installed qubes, and i'm not sure how much different the 4.0 installer is from 3.2, but if you choose to delete your existing partitions during the install and replace them with the qubes partition, then windows will be wiped out. Also any drivers installed in windows won't be there when you install qubes because the whole windows partition was deleted.
