If you're looking for a desktop replacement, http://www.microcenter.com/product/481879/rog_gl702zc-wb74_173_gaming_laptop_computer_-_black#tab-specs should serve you (battery life is not great for obvious reasons). (I have a ryzen CPU -- 1600x -- with older Radeon graphics card (which has kernel support), works splendidly.) Your issues with q4 probably don't stem from the CL cpu though, but from problematic Pascal support.
