Go to sys-net's Qube Settings/Devices and make sure that Card Reader isn't
on the right hand side. Only things should be network devices.

If that doesn't fix it, I know Realtek made some weird device with
multiple functions so you might have to try some steps in
https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/assigning-devices/#pci-passthrough-issues.

Lastly, if you still want to try your approach, I think it's commonly
/etc/rc.local.
