That indeed was the missing item ... I had studied the 4.0 section of https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/templates /fedora-minimal/, but failed to identify this, as the corresponding listing is somewhat confusing: "... qubes-core-agent-networking: Networking support. Required if the template is to be used for a sys- net or sys-firewall VM." I want networking, but NOT use the https://www .qubes-os.org/doc/templates/fedora-minimal/late as sys-net/-firewall Thank you!
