What template are the VMs using? Are you using a sys-usb?
There are two options. The disks are mounted readonly or you dont have
permission to remove the files.
Run 'mount ' and check what options apply to the disks.(You'll see rw or
ro).
The standard templates ship with ntfs drivers that should allow for rw of NTFS
volumes.

If the volumes are mounted rw then you may have a permissions problem.
Check permission using ls -l
Try copying using sudo.
