Hi After a couple days of failure, I was able to find out the root cause of this problem and resolve it. Using alsa-info.sh script I was able to extract my sound card's subsystem ID as 8086:a348. It turned out that this sound card is not supported by Linux kernel 4.14 (which is used by dom0). So, using qubes-builder repository, I compiled Linux kernel 4.19 from stable-4.19 branch, and after a reboot, everything worked just fine. According to the following links, supporting this card has been added to Linux kernel version 4.17: https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/468082 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201251 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "qubes-users" group.
