GTK applications have a tendency to output a regular stream of fatal irrecoverable warnings because some icon is missing or small trivia like that… I think this is just that it did not manage to save some gedit-specific information about your file (metadata). I would guess that it did not manage to save the cursor position (so that when you re-open the file next time, the cursor is at the same line and column as it was when you closed the file).
