The 5530 does not allow legacy boot from internal hard drives.  I have a 5530 
with similar specs.  I can install from legacy mode off a USB to the hard 
drive, but once I restart it wont boot.  You MUST install from UEFI as far as I 
know.  A few people have gotten it to work but I have not gotten the installer 
to run so far.  There is another thread with details on how to make it work.  
Search for precision 5520 in qubes-users and read that thread.
