I FOUND AN INTERESTING SOLUTION to the endless boot loop problem (Windows startup repair can never fix): I pressed F8 while Windows was booting, and got to the startup screen with some boot up options. I chose "restore to last working configuation" (or something like that), and WHAMMO!
