I don't know what a "high end system" is. Think about your priorities and what you want to do. Then look for a system that fits. If your priority is security you may find that older laptops "work perfectly" and have the bonus of being cheap. Lenovo x230 or G505. Bear in mind that many users find problems with newer hardware - these can be overcome but may be daunting at first. Follow the lists and you'll see what I mean.
