After some discussion decided that this feature was not scalable (i.e. when
dealing
with lists of 10,000's of objects clicking 'a' could still return a list of
1000's of
hits showing only the first 10). Alphabetic browsing also presents many
difficulties
to port fully to i18n. Decided to solve large list browsing with
auto-suggest search.
