New issue 1299 by epmclellan: Making boolean operator mistakes in search
results in 500 Internal Server error

To reproduce this error:

1)In search box (for information object, actor object or repository object)
enter invalid search query, such as <term> && !? <term> (correct query is
<term> && ! <term>)
2)click search or enter
Resulting error:
================
500 Internal Server error - see attached screenshot
Expected result:
================
"Search returned 0 results" (though preferably it would be "Invalid search
query" or something like that)
