Too bad Coverflow doesn't suport dynamic load. Okay, so maybe two options:
1) similar to the scalability solution being discussed for treeview (see
issue 1303),
we only load a maximum of 10 - 20 descendant images by default. Then the
last 'image'
is a link to reload the template with all of the descendant images
populated into the
Coverflow viewer ("Viewing 1-20 of 600 images. Click to view all"). Also,
rather than
reload the same template with a fully populated Coverflow viewer, we could
also
redirect to a digitalobject/browse/ template
2) hack Coverflow viewer to enable dynamic load
