The title is being sent by the application, but hidden by CSS style.
Please, see files above:
plugins/sfCaribouPlugin/css/style.css, line 59:

{
display: none;
}
and... plugins/sfClassicPlugin/css/main.css
.search h2
{
display: none;
}
I assigned this to Jack because he knows better than me how those CSS file
work.
