error when requesting Italian descriptions

To reproduce this error:

1) Change the current culture to Italian
2) Create a new archival description
3) Request the description via OAI with a ListRecords request (e.g.
http://localhost/icaatom-1.0.9/index.php/;oai/oai?verb=ListRecords&metadataPrefix=oai_dc)
Resulting error:
================
An internal server error. The above process works using English as the
current culture.
Expected result:
================
Valid OAI response to the ListRecords request.
