New issue 1922 by [email protected]: Can't add related resource in
authority record when title of resource is a common one
http://code.google.com/p/qubit-toolkit/issues/detail?id=1922
Within an authority record, it is impossible to add a relationship to a
related resource when the title of the related resource is a common one eg
‘Annual report’ or ‘Minutes’. The auto-complete list in the related
resources box only lists the title and the identifier eg ‘1’. However, in
many cases, this is not enough to uniquely identify a resource ie there are
several resources called ‘Annual report’ with the identifier ‘1’. The only
way to uniquely identify a resource is with the entire reference code.
Adding the entire reference code to the auto-complete list would solve this
problem.
To reproduce this error:
========================
1) Use the University of Strathclyde application
2) In an authority record, try to add OB/3/1 Annual report (ie
http://ica-atom.org/strathclyde/annual-report;isad) as a related resource.
Resulting error:
================
OB/3/1 doesn't appear in the auto complete list.
