for examples of online directories of archives. This issue arises from SK
development - we want to integrate the SCAA directory of archives into
ica-atom. The structure of the directory and the thematic/type access
points were based on the CCA directory.
It is currently possible to search only the *names* of repositories. With
this feature:
- all fields would be searchable (e.g. history, mandate, finding aids),
although they probably wouldn't need to be searchable separately
- access points would be added, which would be searchable/browseable
This is part of planned SK development, pending further refinement of
requirements. We need to discuss how best to incorporate the access points
- similar to access points to descriptions (e.g. subject, place) they are
all based on content found in the repository descriptions, even if they are
not specifically standards-based.
