To reproduce this error:

1)Create place term and assign non-preferred "Use for" term
2)Save
3)Create information object with place term selected from drop-down list,
select non-preferred term
4)Save information object
5)Search using non-preferred term
Resulting error:
================
No resulting information object
Expected result:
================
Information object with preferred place term should result
