New issue 2366 by [email protected]: Boolean operator OR not working in
actor object search box
http://code.google.com/p/qubit-toolkit/issues/detail?id=2366
To reproduce this error:
========================
1)Create or import at least 3 authority records for actors with the same
last name --> ex: Chang, Madeline; Chang, Evelyn; Chang, Winton.
2)Navigate to the actor object show screen (browse persons/organizations)
3)Using the actor objects search box, create a search query using OR, with
the aim of returning 2 out of 3 of the authority records --> ex: "Madeline
OR Evelyn"
Resulting error:
================
All actor objects are returned instead of the target actor objects (ie,
Madeline and Evelyn Chang, NOT Winton)
Expected result:
================
Only actor objects with the term "madeline" or "evelyn" should be returned.
NOTE: This functional test produced an additional bug-like behaviour (see
screenshot). While only 7 results were returned during the functional test
(in fact all actor objects currently in the system), the hit count at the
bottom of the show screen reported 14 results returned. This may be in
relation to the problem identified in issue 1983, where information objects
and authority records are duplicated in the hit count.
