Comment #17 on issue 1965 by [email protected]: Add extra fields to
authority and repository search
http://code.google.com/p/qubit-toolkit/issues/detail?id=1965
re: Authority Records Search
If you start your search from the Browse Persons/organizations sub-search
box, then all the listed fields are indexed:
authorizedFormOfName
datesOfExistence
functions
generalContext
history
identifier
internalStructures
legalStatus
mandates
places
otherFormsOfName
If you start your search from the Main Search Box, then NO, these fields in
the authority record do not produce search result hits.
If the authority record is linked to an archival description, the name
access point in the archival description will be provided as a search
result hit on a name search in the main search box.
re:Repository Search
If you start your search from the Repository Browse sub-search box, the
fields holdings and collecting policies are both indexed.
