Comment #6 on issue 1505 by [email protected]: Translated subject
terms not appearing in search results
http://code.google.com/p/qubit-toolkit/issues/detail?id=1505
I created an archival description in English and added a subject term in
English.
I switched to French and translated the archival description and the
subject term into French.
In the French interface I searched for the french subject term and AtoM
retrieved the correct archival description.
If I search in the French interface for the English subject term - no
retrieval.
If I search in the English interface for the French subject term - no
retrieval, but if I search for the English subject term I get a hit.
NOTE: both French and English subject terms are visible in the browse
subjects page in both English and French interfaces. If you click on the
french subject term in the English interface for browse subject terms, you
are redirected to the English archival description. If you click on the
English subject term in the French interface for browse subject terms, you
are redirected to the French archival description.
The translated subject terms should not be searchable or visible in other
language interfaces.
