Australians should not be dependant on the US 'goodwill' or US 'welfare state subsidization' that the GPS signals it provides -- with respect to its time signal. GPS (only when coupled with Galileo and Glonass) -- provides a time service that is not overtly (or possibly covertly) misleading.
