Hi everyone
I was looking for detailed information about differences between ntpdate
and ntpd and have found this:
"Finally, since ntpdate does not discipline the host clock frequency as does
ntpd, the accuracy using ntpdate is limited."
Since both, ntpdate and ntpd used adjtime() kernel function to adjust system
clock, what this phrase means? What is it intend to say ?
