You don't say where you are in the world. However the NNTP posting IP
address suggests France, and you mention Euros.
That in mind, if you can manage a soldering iron, you might want to
consider a hand made DCF77, and/or MSF radio clock. You could even try the
Swiss HBG signal. Take a look at

You could get a couple of radio receivers going for under 100EUR. At the
very least they make a good backup to a GPS receiver.
