GPS (with respect to NTP) : GPS transmission frequencies are transmitted 20hz (?) lower due to relativity... GPS World did a brief mention of this recently. I assume that Gloanss also does this. This at some level affects using GPS as a time source, but it not a source coding issue. The GPS clock bitsream is always being revised, at least the L2 one.
