The Time and Frequency Division of NIST has begun a test of a new NTP server that provides authenticated NTP service using the symmetric key algorithm that is described in the NTP documentation. The service is currently being provided on a test basis. Users who wish to learn more about this service or to begin using it on a test basis should go to our web page at tf.nist.gov/service/auth_ntp.htm.
