The casual reader wouldn't get to that section.  They would stop at the 
Automatic NTP Configuration Options page, where the only advantages are 
in terms of redundancy and single point failures, none of which being 
advantages for the typical w32time user with a single Unix NTP gateway 
machine.

Actually, if they looked at 4.2.4p4, they would come away with the 
impression that orphan mode didn't exist!
