Some people have the skills, the tools, equipment and supplies to 
perform such a task!  Others do not.  It's possible to purchase any or 
all of these.

In this case, perhaps the "company" should hire a professional to 
install the GPS receiver.  It will probably cost more than the GPS 
receiver but it may give the "company" confidence!

I, OTOH, would prefer an employer who was not "descended from a long 
line of maiden aunts"!!
