Dear All,
Currently i have using Red Hat 7.2 PC Linux
I have 3 Red Hat 7.2 PC Linux for MY Testing
I have using 2 PC as Redundant PC
I have configured floating IP as NTP Server on 3 PCs
Floating IP is 172.16.0.3
PC1 IP is 172.16.0.1
PC2 IP is 172.16.0.2
PC3 IP is 172.16.0.8
Written script to monitering the Other PC every 30 Seconds
Assume PC1 is currently Active and its Network is
goes down or Shutdown the PC1 then the Floating IP will
be host in PC2 and respectively
I need the clarrification about whether i need to
restart the ntp server on this condtion or it will automatically
take care this changes
If its automatically take care this changes and then how much
time its take to sync with ntp Server
Please can any one help me
