The Meinberg package is based in NTP 4.2.4, and mau not support the "preempt" keyword. Try the following in your ntp.conf file: server 0.us.pool.ntp.org iburst server 1.us.pool.ntp.org iburst server 2.us.pool.ntp.org iburst server 3.us.pool.ntp.org iburst and then restart NTP using the Services Manager (in Administrative tools). Please report the output from running: ntpq -p from the command prompt.
