Adding in another power-consuming PC simply to gain a little accuracy is simply not justified for my needs. Windows, with the interpolation code provided and enhanced by various folks (to whom go my thanks), is now quite adequate as an Internet client, LAN Client/Server, or even as a stratum-1 reference clock.
