Synchronization to the Internet is probably fine, but you should select your own servers manually and not leave this decision to the pool. The pool is nice for home users who want zero-config timesync, but it is not for a professional network at a bank. There you want to know if you are syncing to something reliable (e.g. the bureau of standards in your country) or a hobbyist system that may leave tomorrow or may actually be a virtual machine in the hands of someone who does not know how to keep reasonable time on virtual machines.... _______________________________________________ questions mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/questions
