Hi group,

My ntp clients keep being rejected, and I don't know how to debug it. I don't
even know if it's the
client that rejects the server or the server that rejects the client. ntpq
shows this:

# ntpq localhost
ntpq> peers
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter

  svr02.teleport- .INIT. 16 - - 1024 0 0.000 0.000 0.000
  coprophiliac.de .INIT. 16 - - 1024 0 0.000 0.000 0.000
  formularfetisch .INIT. 16 - - 1024 0 0.000 0.000 0.000

   1 61694 8000 yes yes none reject
   2 61695 8000 yes yes none reject
   3 61696 8000 yes yes none reject
   4 61697 8000 yes yes none reject

Now what does this mean? Why is my time not being synced? Where should I look
for the problem?

thanks in advance...

It's telling you that NONE of the four servers you have configured has responded to a NTP query. Time is not being synched because there is nothing to sync to!
