Nope, I meant that system time should be within .4 sec. That will not
matter if you use gpsd since that should accurately get the time of the
pps pulse from the nmea of the gps unit (assuming it is not broken like
some of the garmin 18x are).
To clarify, the Garmin hardware is not broken, but some recent firmware
should be avoided as the NMEA serial string may stretch into the second
following the PPS pulse! Use the current 3.70 firmware for unambiguous
results, or firmware 3.20 or earlier.
