Hi guys! Here's the problem: I have one particular Oncore UT+ receiver (2.2 firmware revision) that only works in mode 3, i.e., I need to reset it (losing the almanac) everytime I restart the NTP daemon. As you might imagine this is a major problem.
If I don't use mode 3 it just hangs at 55881 34932.888 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Have now loaded an ALMANAC 55881 34932.888 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: state = ONCORE_RUN 55881 34932.888 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: SSstate = ONCORE_SS_DONE 55881 34932.958 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: ONCORE: Detected TRAIM, TRAIM = ON 55881 34932.958 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Input says TRAIM = 1 55881 34932.958 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Model # says TRAIM = 1 55881 34932.958 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Testing says TRAIM = 1 55881 34932.958 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Using TRAIM = 1 55881 34933.987 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: PPS Offset is set to 0 ns 55881 34934.004 127.127.30.0 ONCORE[0]: Satellite mask angle is 0 degrees and stays here forever. I searched the archives and could not find a similiar problem. My ntp.oncore.0 file is this MODE 1 # #The following coordinates were surveyed using SynTac over a day # LAT 41 10 28.3055 LONG -8 39 21.9320 HT 131.84 M TRAIM YES DELAY 25 NS CLEAR MASK 0 HARDPPS And my ntp.conf file is server 127.127.30.0 prefer I am running 4.2.6p3 and I have all the required links in /dev. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? Cheers, Miguel _______________________________________________ questions mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/questions
