Yes, Bill, I noticed that as well, and that some of the offsets might have been just about the pulse width, hence my question about using the wrong edge.

Some Garmin GPS 18x LVC firmware versions had the late NMEA problem. For anyone who has not yet updated their firmware to 3.70, you can get the update from Garmin.
