experiences of running NTP on Windows. Looks interesting.
My goal is to integrate some monitoring functionality into my own (C#)
application. So the more interesting thing for me would be to see how
you implemented your monitoring program.
Are you using libntp? How did you cope with the thread-safety problem?

No, Robert, I wrote my code from scratch. It prefers NTP, but will also
try the Time and Daytime protocols if NTP fails. No threads, it polls
round the servers. I did say "simple"!
