7. when you specify wrong configuration, the ntpd -q process hangs. How do i specify a timeout? sudo ntpd -q -c /etc/ntp.conf -l /tmp/ntp_logfile.txt -n and in my config file i have added a keyId (key 1) next to my server : the keyId is a none-existing reference, and there is no valid reference to a keys files.
