ntpq> pee

==============================================================================
*timeserver .GPS. 1 u 6 16 377 0.299 0.019 0.067

-server3 xx.xx.xx.xx 2 u 5 16 377 0.229 -0.048 0.042
ntpq> ass
ind assid status conf reach auth condition last_event cnt

1 50221 961d yes yes none sys.peer 1
2 50222 f41d yes yes ok candidate 1
3 50223 f41d yes yes ok candidate 1
4 50224 f31d yes yes ok outlyer 1
ntpq>
what does the popcorn status (d in column status) mean ?
why am i not able to see last_event changing like when ntp is started?
Why about cnt column - it has been changing when ntp started, but now it stays
at cnt=1.
status when ntp restarted:
ind assid status conf reach auth condition last_event cnt
===========================================================
1 839 963a yes yes none sys.peer sys_peer 3
2 840 f324 yes yes ok outlyer reachable 2
3 841 f424 yes yes ok candidate reachable 2
4 842 f424 yes yes ok candidate reachable 2
Thanks for the explanation.
Kind regards,
ardi
