My question now is: since my system is a battery powered one, and the batteries are very often removed so the time always starts at the epoch time (1970) or something very old, is there a way to make NTP work with a so big "time jump"?
A very old tactic for this was to use the most recent disk update time. Not sure how easy that is to transfer to the Windows start up sequence.
A common tactic is to set a fixed time that that is in the very recent past. _______________________________________________ questions mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ntp.org/listinfo/questions
