FYI, I researched the question of "how to simulate an upcoming leap second (as announced through NTP)" a while back, and the solution I have in the drawer (still waiting for the next firmware release to go into QA) is to set up a dedicated (phony) NTP server with NTP-Proxy. https://github.com/AmadeusITGroup/NTP-Proxy#indirect-ls-simulation-via-ntp Regards, J.
