Hi folks,
Here is an updated version of the draft adding FEC capabilities in QUIC.
During this year, most of my time has been spent in implementing and
experimenting with different applications.
We could obtain significant performance improvements with real
applications such as curl and GStreamer using the ideas developed here.
I recently heard some interest from several IETF folks on FEC for QUIC,
so it might be the time to spark some discussions again. I would love to
have other IETFers putting their hands on this and collaborating
together to move forward, so do not hesitate to reach out to
collaborate, on the draft or anything else.
I'll be there in person at IETF118 so we can chat there as well. :-)
Cheers,
Franz
