Hi folks,

Apologies if you may have seen this already. However, do consider if you'd like
to volunteer for the NomCom this year. It plays an important role in deciding
the makeup of the IETF. Closing date is today. See details below

Subject: NomCom 2025-2026 Volunteer Selection Process
Date: Friday, June 27, 2025 23:19

Hi all,

We are now in the final week to sign up as a NomCom volunteer, with
registration closing at the end of the day on 30 June. We currently have
around 180 volunteers, which is a good number, but we always welcome more!

It only takes one click to volunteer for NomCom 2025–2026:
Volunteer Here: https://datatracker.ietf.org/nomcom/volunteer

The final list of volunteers will be announced shortly after 1 July 2025, with
a brief period for any challenges to inclusions.

Volunteer selection will follow the process outlined in RFC 8713 and use the
random selection method defined in RFC 3797. The seeds that will be used are
listed below:

* The seven number from the Dutch Lottery Lotto Trekking
(https://lotto.nederlandseloterij.nl/trekkingsuitslag) on Saturday, 2025-07-05.
* The seven numbers from Croatian Lottery Loto 7
(https://www.lutrija.hr/hl/rezultati/loto-7) on Saturday, 2025-07-05.
* The seven numbers from Euro-Millions (https://www.euro-millions.com) on
Friday, 2025-07-04.
* The nine numbers from the Japanese Takarakuji Loto 7
(https://en.lottolyzer.com/result/japan/lotto-7) on Friday 2025-07-04.

Thanks,
