Hi, You might have seen that I asked for a side meeting called "More QUIC, how?” on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, 6:00pm - 8:00pm (Europe/Vienna) in Grand Klimt Hall 3.
Very briefly, the point is to discuss what we could do to encourage more QUIC deployment, given that various deployments stats still only show ~30% of QUIC [1][2][3]. We have two hours, so I think we could start off with a very limited number of very short presentations to seed the following discussion. So please email me ASAP if you’d like to show some more data, pitch a proposal, or have something else of relevance to briefly show to the participants. Note: Grand Klimt Hall 3 seats 40 people. While IETF side meetings are by nature open to all interested participants, I’d like to encourage participants considering in-person participation in the room to consider if they expect to ACTIVELY contribute to the live discussion. Remote participation is available and I will try to get a recording produced, so people interested in the content/outcome of the meeting without necessarily wanting to be active participants in the room should strongly consider those options.
