Well, I for one appreciate Rick's postings which he cites and one can go look and read for oneself. I don't consider them political or rantings by one person but issues that ought to be of concerned to all of us.  If you see his name in the "from" you have a delete key and it is just okay to use it without reading his posts leaving those that want to be informed to read it if we choose. So, Rick, hope you don't stop, you have my support! By the way, this is a vegetarian site and the protection of all living life and protection from horrific abuse of animals is very important. You have heard of the web of life wherein you can't destroy one thread without undoing the rest of it? As far as the depletion of fish stocks off Newfoundland...the seals were there for a very long time and their eating fish never depleted the stores of fish until the fishermen over fished the area.
