I am new here, and sooo glad to find you!!
This time last year I went to work at the Grand Canyon North Rim for
six months, and being a vegetarian I encounted some challenges. Meals
were prepared for us....I ate alot of Green Salad!
My housing did not have kitchens so I prepared what I could in my
crock-pot, toaster oven, sandwich maker, etc... I purchased what I
could over the internet since the closest town is 2.5 hours away.
At any rate, I am returning by April, and I would like to be a little
bit more prepared this year. I have my own food dehydrator and vacuum
sealer, so I plan to prepare some mixes that can be easily prepared.
Any suggestions?
