Pets Welcome The WorldFest 2006 Earth Day Festival will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 2006, from 10 am to 6:30 pm, at the beautiful outdoor setting of Woodley Park in Encino, CA (Map). We will welcome our attendees to a magnificent day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment. The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kid's activities and an delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be inspiring and enjoyable for all. 25 bands on three stages! * A great combination of international acts and fantastic local bands. * On our Main Stage you'll hear our bigger-name bands as well as our celebrity speakers. * In the Ocean Room where we'll have rock, funk, and jazz groups. * the Earth Lounge is where we'll showcase singer/songwriters and world music groups. * the WorldFest Poetry Festival will showcase some of the best poets from around Southern California. * Check out the EcoTent, a place to learn simple things you can do to make a difference in the world and save you some money at the same time. * We're having speakers on Hybrid Cars, Water Filtration, Organic Gardening, Composting, Recycling and more! * There will also be over 100 exhibitors there showcasing their products with information on their organizations. * The Kid's Area is a place for storytelling, face painting, and children's entertainers as well as other activities! * You'll definitely want to check out the Animal Adoptions!
