Hi all! I am new here, but thought I would mention that only a owner
or existing moderator can change a member's status to moderator.

I was able to join without approval, so this group is not managed at
all.

I recommend starting a brand new group that is private and requires
approval for entry, publisize it here, and then move to the other
group. Being in a public forum with no active owner or moderator is
dangerous.

I will remain long enough to see if someone starts a new group, but I
will not remain here permanently. Too many crazies out there, ya
know?

Kerri
