Hi Virginia: Welcome aboard! another group you may like is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
There is a wealth of information there as well as a lot of really great recipes
for a lot of widely cultural healthy food. I also belong to this group and have
found some really great recipes as well as information about eating healthy. I
have just started 'turning vegetarian' after a lifetime of eating badly, and I
find that I actually like it much better (not eating meat). In any event,
welcome! PS I live in the middle of a city and would love to live in the
'hills.' I am so envious....

who's looking for some quick, easy & more healthy recipes, ideas &
tips.
I'm a 40something fat, female potter. Live in rural splendor/squalor
in west central WVa with my husband, my sister, two dogs & too many
projects. No kids. Too many tattoos. I'm a former 'alternachick'
determined not to age gracefully. (my website, if you are really
curious is www.dancingpig.com)
Been an ovo lacto vegetarian since age 18. My culinary vices are
cheese, bread & cookies. My main complaint after moving out to the
hills from the suburbs of DC two years ago, is the lack of upscale
food, both at the grocery store and restaurants as well. Pizza Hut &
Dairy Queen are our only local eating out options. I really, really
miss Indian food. Actually, i miss any good food, esp. pizza, that
someone else has made for me!
OK, babbled on long enough.
Looking forward to this list.
I'd especially welcome any tips & recipes for Indian food. mmmm,
samosas...
Blessings
